Vancouver Economic Commission in The Netherlands

The Vancouver Economic Commission (VEC) has conducted a market research to green building developments (2019-2032). Focusing on the developments and demand in the green building sector in Vancouver. On the 6th and 7th of June two team members of the VEC visited the Netherlands and met with Annemarie van Doorn, director of the Dutch Green Building Council to discuss some of the findings of the research, providing an overview of Vancouver’s policy and regulatory environment, and the market opportunities that will emerge. They also met with a variety of Dutch companies to see how this can lead to new collaboration in the context of green developments.

The province of British Columbia is putting in a great effort to reduce CO2 with their Climate Action plans. On June 11th and 12th the Premier of British Columbia, John Horgan was in the Netherlands with a focus on Clean tech and Climate action. Premier Horgan visited Priva and met with a variety of Dutch organisations, such as the Holland Circular Hotspot. We are looking forward to new collaborations.
