Canadian architect firm Dialog in the Netherlands

Canadian architecture firm Dialog (550 FTE, offices in four cities) attended the Dutch wood building event "Houtdag 2016", organized by Mr. Daria Khachi (wood engineer) and Mr. Craig Applegath (founding principal) of met with Dutch delegates at CaGBC 2016 in Toronto. They decided to look for a Dutch collaboration partner for wood building design.They had a good two day visit, organized by the Embassy of Canada, an active partner of the Parallel 52 network.

Architect Paul Dowsett on sustainable building in Toronto

In September, Parallel 52, in close cooperation with the Embassy of Canada in the Hague, organized a session with architect Paul Dowsett. Paul founded based in Toronto. He earlier visited the Netherlands as an industry expert to visit greenbuild sector companies. Professor Anke van Hal, co-founder of Parallel 52, opened the session with a great presentation on her first months in Toronto, where she lives. She looked back at the strong Dutch presence at CaGBC 2016.

June 5th, Architecture Faculty Ryerson University, Toronto, Canada

Following the Canada Green Building Council Expo and live video Cisco sessions, Parallel52 in collaboration with the Dutch Consulate in Toronto, Cisco, City of Toronto, Ryerson University and Nyenrode Business University, conveyed a private workshop in June, 2014. This workshop was a reputable finale for the Toronto – Netherlands collaboration over the last months.
